wooo.. ok.. so i've been a bit slack with pics of the kids.... kids / fish (or if your kiwi "fush")... woteva....


anyhoots.. today i picked up a TomTom ONE 3rd Ed. for the tidy sum of $140. Only less than 50% of the shelf price :) Bargin. I think it was Kramer that said it best: "Retail is for SUCKERS". And no this is not a damaged, 2nd hand, or reconditioned model... its new, plastic wrapped and totally unused.

So how did i get it? Well I just sweet talked the guy at Strathfield, and signed up for a 2 year mobile contract at the same time.

We've Adopted Again.

Wow....

We've been in negotiations Steva Inc and it all came together today when their agents delivered our new kids this morning. I must admit I was abit unprepared because they arrived earlier than expected. So after the agents left I made sure the kids were bedded down and not too stressed out, then headed out to pickup some much needed supplies.

It took me a while to completely set up but its all been put together the fish tank is all up and running now.: plants have been planted, driftwood drifting, the filter primed and flowing, and most importantly the kiddies are in.

We've adopted 4 angel fish. We just have to think of new names now.

Lulu doesn't yet know that the tank is here. She's been enjoying the sights of New Zealand on a work business trip. Lucky gal!

But on the other hand I;ve had the new widescreen TV all to myself this weekend. The quality of the Starwars DVD on it is beginning to look abit dated. Compared to the quality of Peter Jackson's King Kong, it just doesn't stack up.

Maybe I'll have to buy them all over again when it comes out on blue ray..... ;)

Today the crew of the International Space Station spoke to the Queen who is currently visiting the USA. I can't speak for anybody else, but if I was going to speak to the Queen of England I'd atleast comb my hair....

In a previous incarnation I used to be into magic and spent a hefty dollar chasing the latest in the field. Just out of the blue I thought I'd checkout an old favourite magic (shop) website where I found this little promo video of a new DVD called "The Wedding DVD".

Ignore the fact that its not in english but how does he get the cards to stand up and move like that?!?!

Good use of Tax Payers Money

In the UK people who own a TV pay a license fee to support the BBC. Its a user pays system.

In Australia everyone helps to support the ABC via a portion of their taxes.

I wonder if the Australia population knows that their tax goes to support such programs as:

Damn its windy.

You know you live in a building that was built by the cheapest contractors when the corners of the windows aren't at right angles. Not really a problem until the wind picks up and starts to howl from the small cracks in the window frame!

And don't get me started on the walls.. which are all flat - which is ok until the tiler used bubble gum to glue the tiles to walls.
